Westminster Confession

Westminster Confession 1:2
Of the Holy Scriptures
Under the name of Holy Scripture, or the Word of God written, are now all the books of the Old and New Testaments, which are these:

Of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.

Of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1-2-3 John, Jude, Revelation.

All of which are given by inspiration of God to be the rule of faith and life.

-

What is to be the rule of faith and life? The Word of God which is the Bible. The catholic books of the Apocrypha are to be absolutely rejected as authoritative and binding. Only the books of the protestant Bible are to be regarded as the Word of the Living God.

The day we live in is one of absolute full and complete revelation! This is a day that the prophets of long ago dreamed of. We have the first advent of the Messiah to look back on, four accounts of His life and ministry, we have so much to be thankful for through God's merciful revelation in the Word of God. His will is give therein and it has power to open hearts and change lives. It is inspired of God and the one and only rule for faith and life.
